KZNCC plays a  proactive role in resolving land issues in the province Facilitating constructive dialogue between farmers and farm dwellers/workers aiming to establish justice and peace between farm dwellers, farm workers and white commercial farmers of KwaZulu Natal farms.

Offering capacity-building training for partners and stakeholders in mediation, conflict resolution, lobbying and advocacy skills managing conflicts between farmers, farm dwellers, and labour tenants. Most of the conflicts and animosity emanate from the alleged violation of the basic human rights of the people living and working on farms.
